MC-TRAVERSE® 4.03 is a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use software for entering, storing and plotting surveying information. MC-TRAVERSE is available for use with both the MC5 hand-held field data collector and the MC-GPS data collector.

With MC-TRAVERSE® you can:

• Compute the enclosed traverse area as well as the closure error.
• Use azimuth, bearing, feet, meters, chains, yards, true and magnetic north.
• Take foresights, backsights or both.
• Plot side-shots and main traverse simultaneously in the field.
• Output files to AutoCAD®, Arc/Info®, ITMAP, TRAVERSE PC®, IBM-ASCII (RAW), DG and PC-GPS.
• Output a scaled map directly from the hand-held computer.

MC5-TLASER® 
The Complete Interface Package for the MC5 and the Tree Laser

MC5-TLASER® is a software interface which allows you to use the Tree Laser (developed by Laser Technology, Inc.) for direct data entry into MC-TRAVERSE®, MC-PROFILE, Cruising and other timber management packages. MC5-TLASER's® easy-to-use interface makes data entry fast and automatic.

Use MC5-TLASER® to enter distance, azimuth, height, slope and other information directly from the Tree Laser into your application software as if you were entering the data through the keyboard.

MC-PROFILE 
Profile Analysis Data Entry

MC-PROFILE provides a software platform for entering profile analysis information, including slope, distance, side-shot and support tree data.

Export your profile data directly into LoggerPC or other profile analysis software. Plot your data on the MC5 display or directly to a serial printer.

MC-PROFILE supports data input from the Criterion 400 series Tree Laser as well as keyboard data entry.

RM STAND-DC® 
Stand Exam Data Collector for Region 2, 3 and 4

RM STAND-DC® is a powerful, easy to use software package for the MC5 field data collector. RM STAND-DC® emulates familiar field collection cards. Use RM STAND-DC to collect data for:

RM STAND-DC's® built-in tables allow you to automatically calculate limiting distance in the field. You can also calculate the slope, slope distance or horizontal distance. You can even calculate the actual height of leaning trees.

National Cruise Program Data Collector for Region 4

R4-CRUZ is a powerful, easy-to-learn program designed specifically for Region 4 cruisers. R4-CRUZ with MC-TRAVERSE® provides a combination of help screens, tally screens and functions that truly make it an all-in-one package.

R4-CRUZ supports the following cruise methods:
